This is an oil painting that I recently completed for my wife, Kay, which brings back happy memories of our trip to the Caribbean in January – February 2019.

Front view of the first green on the Old Course at The San Roque Club. This oil painting shows the slopes, deep green side bunker, as well the tres and property beyond the boundary wall.
The Three Beeches, Avebury, Wiltshire, 2018
The root patterns of these trees are fascinating. I completed this drawing during an afternoon inJuly 2018 during an art course led by Fiona McIntyre, a member of a group of artists called the Aborealists. It was particularly enjoyable as we were using special coloured stones to draw with as well as charcoal, graphite and pencil. I later used this study as inspiration for an oil painting depicting this same group of beeches.
